The WLS555 Weigh On The Move Wheel Loader Scale now ships with a 10" Rugged Tablet providing the user with great visibility of the loader scale data. Built in USB port on the tablet to download the daily .CSV log file to a USB stick.

Here in the Klassen Group Penticton yard, we opted for the SCI Scale and Control WLS555 on our primary CAT950 loader and our smaller John Deere J244. We here at the yard and thrilled with the system. One of the main reasons we chose the SCI Scale is that it offers automatic conversion from weights to yards, a feature not available on the other system we tried the previous year. We work hard keeping our Daily Densities up to date. This system is so easy to operate that even our loader operators can update the system on the fly, which saves us a significant amount of time.
The learning curve is minimal compared to the other system we used the year before. One of our operators is in his 70s and not a computer person; he found it easy to learn how to operate. The one big question, I think, is whether this system is sound: would I buy it again? Though anyone can say yes. I am working with our head office to get another for our XXX loader, so I think that speaks volumes.

This picture below is an SCI Scale Controller-I/O Module being (old version) installed on the front nose of a Cat 980G wheel loader. The cover plate was removed and the SCI Controller was installed inside the compartment. All of our electronics are weatherproof IP67 Rated. The Scale Controller has an installed WiFi chip that communicates with the 10" inch WiFi Rugged Tablet and optional WiFi printer inside the cab. This eliminates the need to run any cables into the cab from the controller. This saves installation time & hassles.

The WLS555 provides users with start of the art technology. Our system has a .1% failure rate on the components, you can count on its reliability.
We offer 7 days a week technical phone support to assist you with all aspects of the scale setup and long term operation. This is done at no charge to you for our support, for the life of the scale. On average it will take you 4 to 6 hours to install and calibrate the scale. On a recent system installation on a Cat 966M the customer experienced a .5% error on the system calibration. We advertise as standard a 1% error rate on the machine static tipping load capacity. Another customer had a John Deere 644J and a Cat 950K, this customer had a 60 lb error on each machine when calibrated, which is a .2% error on machine capacity.
The WLS system is feature rich, for those users that want a basic weigh on the move scale scale, they simply leave the more advanced features turned off. For those that want more of the advanced features, you can turn features on and off with the slide of a button. The system ships as standard with the Rugged, Commercial 10" Tablet (waterproof, shockproof, dustproof), it can also ship with a Tab A7 Lite or users can use their own Android Smart Phone or Tablet.

What size of machine is the scale designed to work on: We have customers with skids steers on up to the largest articulating loaders in the market using the WLS555 Scale. Our smaller size customers load 10-15 trucks of material a day, our bigger customers typically load 750+ trucks a day.
SQLite Database Access:The WLS555 Loader Scale system data is stored on an SQLite database. For users that have professional database personnel on staff, the database file can be accessed by these professionals providing for broad data access and detailed report generation capability. The Weigh On The Move Scale Kit Includes:
1-Weigh On The Move Scale Controller/I-O Module with powder coated mounting plate (the scale brain); the electronics are IP67 wash down rated. Controller has built in WiFi to communicate with a WiFi enabled display device and our optional WiFi printers. 1-Proximity Sensor Plate includes 2-Ferrous Proximity Sensors that read the metal edge of the bucket arms as they go by, this triggers the weighing cycle. 1-Wiring Harness, Fused, with Power Connection (9-32Vdc), 2-Snap In Pressure Transducer Connections, 2-Snap In I/O Connections. A standard Dual Port USB Port and charging cables to charge the tablet and optional ticket printer is included with each scale kit. Wire the port directly to the machine battery which allows the scale to remain continuously powered regardless of the machines ignition being on or off. There is an on/off button on the USB port. This is a great option for users that frequently turn their machines on and off throughout the day. The scale draws very low amps and will not affect your machine battery life, nor the functionality of the scale to leave it powered continuously.

LPT WiFi Printer
The LPT WiFi Thermal Printer is an exceptional value for an onboard ticket printer for printing load tickets from the WLS555 Wheel Loader Scale.
The printer is compact and lightweight, it prints direct thermal 3" tickets.
User's can go into the scale to reload the last ticket printed, to be reprinted, or immediately reprint additional tickets by pushing the right side button on the printer face.
There are no cables to be run into the cab. The printer receives load ticket data data from SCI's Wifi chip that is located on the loader scale controller board.
